(USA Today) Based on 54,000 interviews conducted in 2008 by American Religious Identification Survey (ARIS), those claiming to have "No Religion," including atheists, agnostics and those who choose no religious identification, increased dramatically over the past 20 years. The states of New Hampshire and Vermont were leading the pack, with the northeast generally showing a lack of spiritual identity. (View the study)
