A teenage girl was disciplined by her church after being raped by a church member. From there, it was a series of unfortunate events. Lies and cover-up took place, and the offender remained in the church, even after confessing.
In the story, that took a year to research, the Independent Baptists are viewed as a cult. The incident of abuse is a pattern among some of the IFB churches.
