'Why I don't sing the national anthem.'

Mennonite Church USA, a very liberal branch of the Anabaptist tradition, believes that state power is inconsistent with the Church’s identity and mission. They also advocate for the strict separation of church and state. This is unlike what you see in the Church today.

In today's Church, you see political candidates seeking endorsement from nationally recognized pastors, and these candidates are making special appearances at Christian events. Believers are unknowingly aligning themselves with the enemies camp.

Some would say that Christians who align themselves with a political candidate is a sign of being an apostate. Think about it.
