Sustainable Living: Rural America

Nothing like a 10 mile ride to town.

Transition Towns has created a plan to transform our communities to live sustainably for years to come. Their plan to build community around the organic production of food. Their concepts won't happen overnight, rather they'll move toward these goals slowly, with timeframes in place.

The following video presents the work of a small group of people, but it is still fairly mindful of what will be done. 2050 is apparently the target year the U.N. hopes to have their Agenda 21 plan in place. A comment is made in the video about the rural areas transforming and will serve the cities with food. This is also true, according to this article. Innocuous speech is used in the executive order, but the author already knows the direction Agenda 21 is taking the world.

See what you think.

Transition Towns: Communism with a Smile

Many vital Communitarian concepts have been wrapped up within the "Transition Movement". The Transition Movement is reported to be a grassroots, community-driven response to overpopulation and consumption, peak oil, climate change, and declining resources. [1] The solutions being introduced in the Transition Movement are being presented as the ideas of two concerned individuals. Is this truly a movement to save the planet by these two men, or is there a more powerful force driving these Transition Towns initiatives?

The Transition Network, is an UK-based organization that supports the international Transition Towns Movement. It is a growing international network of "transition" towns, cities, islands, and hamlets working to wean themselves from a dependence on oil, foreign or otherwise, as well as other finite resources. [2] The message of the movement is that each town (a collective) see that we each have a part in what occurs on our planet in the future. If we don't take personal action, we'll be headed for huge repercussions.

It is through this network effort that a global village is being created to devise common ground amongst its citizens, and an interdependence. More importantly, it is a movement that will enable globalists to transition sovereign nations into a world government. It provides them an opportunity to incorporate global policing, data gathering, create national IDs, population control, restraint to personal freedom, and introduce World Democracy.

Transition Teams
In the following video, Transition team members talk about their vision of the environmentally friendly city they hope to live in. Note how they go from idealistic goals being motivated by our present freedom, to unrealistic goals that will be implemented then enforced.

(YouTube link)

In the video, they discussed:
  • Quieter and cleaner world to live in
  • It will be less stressful
  • More multi-use spaces
  • Work from home
  • Less travel
  • Less cars
  • Locally manufactured goods, like shoes.
  • Upcycling goods that are no longer needed.
  • We will be producer/consumers - meaning we'll be growing our own food, along with those in the community.
  • We'll have local energy production
  • Restore lost self sufficiency skills
  • Equal share of work (Communism stands for equal sharing of work, according to the benefits and abilities.)
  • More poverty, because money will disappear
  • Decisions by the group (a commune concept) (Don't miss comments below about sharing of ideas.)
This sugar-coated view of the world is the concept of Rob Hopkins and Ben Brangwyn, the co-founders of Transition Network. They make it seem that we all have to take this bitter pill, but it can be a positive thing. Some of these points are Communism with a smile. They want you to feel good about the changes, even though it is taking us back to the Middle Ages, where we must be tied to the land.

The Founders
The face of Transition U.S. is primarily Rob Hopkins, who is also part of Transition Network and their pilot project Transition Towns Totnes. He is an environmentalist, the winner of the 2008 Schumacher Award, and a Fellow of Ashoka and the Post Carbon Institute. He served 3 years as a Trustee of the Soil Association, and was named by the Independent UK newspaper as one of the UK’s top 100 environmentalists.[3]Rob is also the author of the Transition Handbook, the guide being used in hundreds of communities around the world that is leading them into a communitarian lifestyle - based on several big lies.

Rob Hopkins in Totnes

The following video of Rob is from a 2009 TEDTalks. From 11:00 on the counter, you will hear how fun and creative these Transition Towns community meetings are, and that the group (collective) get to decide the future of their town (instead of being decided by the elected elite).

Following the Money Trail
The financial supporters of Transition U.S. leads to some organizations like: Post Carbon Institute, NetSpeed Learning Solutions, GaiaHost Collective, Awakening the Dreamer Initiative, and the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies. Organizations like Transition would typically be funded by one of the globalist elites like: Rockefeller, the MacArthur Foundation, or Ford. There is one connection between Post Carbon Institute and the MacArthur Foundation. Majora Carter, an environmental activist, was recognized and awarded the MacArthur "Genius" Grant. She's a Fellow of both the Post Carbon Institute and the MacArthur Foundation. It's likely that the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation  funds the Transition Network through the Post Carbon Institute. Post Carbon Institute has hundreds financial supporters who remain unnamed.

U.N. Connections
The organization that takes the main responsibility for advancing the Transition Town movement is the U.N.'s Agenda 21. The founder of the Earth Charter and Agenda 21 are both the handiwork of Maurice Strong, a Communitarian. As you will see on the Transition Network webpage, the Local Agenda 21, in this case Dorset Agenda 21, and Transition Towns, work together as one.

As you will see in the following illustration, each locality has it's own local and regional Agenda 21.So it is feasible to say that this is how the Transition Town Movement has been able to gain so much support and cooperation. It reveals that the Transition Movement isn't so grassroots after all.

Drinking the Peter Drucker Kool Aid
Our world has been programmed, on the most part, to accept the lie of global warming. Some know that they are furthering the plan for totalitarian control, while others trust what they are being told.

As you will see in the Transition Portland, it is through the shared decision-making that they are able to get the full cooperation of the community. They don't come into the community and tell them what needs to be done, but allow them to be a part of the decision-making. This is a management style of Total Quality Management, the invention of Peter Drucker, also a Communitarian. He has created this community-based global management system, which networks with the Church. As you recall, Peter Drucker was responsible for the Church Growth Movement, a plan to incorporate the Church as a part of the antichrist system.

Through the community effort in Whatcom County, Washington, they are creating an opportunity for a "new world". Do you get the idea that mainly young hippies, old and new, are running this?

Conclusion
God can use the environmental movement to teach us to respect and enjoy nature. But since most environmentalists reject the biblical Creator, we need to filter everything they tell us through biblical truth. If we say that the Earth is perishing, we also say that God didn't provide a planet that would support His creation, and that He didn't provide what we need when He told us to be fruitful and multiply. It's all a diversion to nature worship. Christianity is a faith that has set humans apart from nature and stripped nature of its sacred qualities.

 Communitarian teachings.

"Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator..." Romans 1:25

When men began to worship the creation instead of the Creator, the wrath of God was revealed.  As societies begin again to turn from the truth of the creation and worship nature, "Mother Earth", or any other deceiving spirit, the evil and deception in their new religion will be made evident by God's response. The Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development: Indoctrinating the Masses

The ICSD is a Jerusalem-based organization of inter-religious leaders who promote environmental consciousness and responsibility together. Through their Seminary Students Sustainability Program, Muslim, Christian and Jewish students learn side-by-side about sustainability and co-existence.

Tony Blair once said that faith is inextricably linked to interdependence. The religion of the New World Order is furthering their cause through the global apostate church and false religions by the use of the global warming boogy man.

(YouTube link)

The Trickle Down Effect
The outcome of meetings like this have a trickle-down effect. The following video is an example of one of the programs being generated by the corporate church. A type of communitarian "transition meeting" is taking place in churches. Energy conservation is one of the goals of these meetings, which is a good thing, but misleading congregations about global warming is another issue. As you will see, churches are getting on the sustainability bandwagon.

It is interesting to note that the organization that was featured, is part of the Interreligious Eco-Justice Network. They are also promoting community gardens. Their website states that they are doing this because of the:
"...environmental impact of huge mechanized farms and the high carbon emissions embedded in transporting the food we eat; we can do better!

We have gathered our network and allies for two annual conferences called simply Food and Faith to share and support faith-community based food and garden initiatives. We now know of several Sunday schools which have a gardening curriculum.  We have dozens of congregations supporting local agriculture through CSA’s and dozens more which are growing and donating food to food pantries around the state."
The page for sustainable eating goes into detail concerning why it is better to eat local, than to depend upon a system that creates too much strain on the environment, and encourages vegetarianism.

Communitarian ideology is continuing to be peddled in the Church, and congregations are excited about it. I'm presently taking a Master Gardeners course offered through the county extension office, and some of the participants are involved with community gardens. One woman told me that during the summer, members get to take vegetables home every Sunday. This is great, but none of them suspect what is being planned for their future. They are like gentle lambs being led to slaughter.

Sustainable Development: The Truth Behind It

The United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD) is presently being organized and will take place in Brazil on 20-22 June 2012. It will mark the 20th anniversary of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), in Rio de Janeiro. It also coincides with the 10th anniversary of the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) in Johannesburg. The Earth Summit 2012 is also known as the Rio+20 conference - which is going to be held a second time in Rio de Janeiro, the second largest city of Brazil.

Introduction to the paradigm of sustainable development

Countries and their representatives are already starting to prepare for Rio+20. The initiatives and proposals of their partners are in the making and can be found through the links provided. What you will find are the future programs of the environmentalists and their attempt to fight the false boogeyman agenda of a world falling apart.

The definition of sustainable development and related terms:

But you will learn that it is more far-reaching than that.

In order for the globalists to achieve their goals, limits are being put in place and implemented on developing countries. Their thinking is that since first world countries polluted significantly during their development, they will need to make the greatest sacrifice, which will impede future growth. Plans will be implemented and an attempt will be made to revert us back to a pre-modern lifestyle.

Since they are fair and equal, third world countries will gain access to life sustaining resources...maybe. Since we already know that the globalist's goal is to reduce the world's population and create a global famine by using genetically altered terminator seeds, it's hard to tell what will happen to poor countries, or the poor for that matter.

The Root of Sustainable Development
All current solutions of sustainable development require that we see the world as a system with no boundaries.[1] It's purpose is to bring the world closer together as one, to battle the fictitious enemy in order to more easily implement the control grids of world government. You hear about sustainable development, sustainable growth, sustainable economies, sustainable societies, sustainable agriculture. Everything seems to be sustainable lately. This is their way of getting us to view each problem as global, with each problem being related to each other.

Luciferian elitists doing the watering and clipping.

It goes like this:
"When you think of the world as a system over space, you grow to understand that air pollution from North America affects air quality in Asia, and that pesticides sprayed in Argentina could harm fish stocks off the coast of Australia.
And when you think of the world as a system over time, you start to realize that the decisions our grandparents made about how to farm the land continue to affect agricultural practice today; and the economic policies we endorse today will have an impact on urban poverty when our children are adults." [2]
So you see, there is an interconnectedness of each system of the world. Ironically, the Elites have used the New Age/Pagan/Wiccan triquetra to illustrate this connection. It is the same symbol on the cover on Marilyn Ferguson's The Aquarian Conspiracy, the symbol of the Emergent church, and the "Third Way", also known as Fascism.
Scheme of sustainable development: at the confluence of three constituent parts.
There is something missing on the diagram - the political/government aspect of restructuring. It's been conveniently left out to prevent the average person from getting suspicious. Shouldn't it be placed in the center where the words sustainable are placed? They are the ones in control.

Based on the UN website, the sustainable development program received the "coordinated support from the United Nations system..." It says more - most of which would take an expert to decipher, but it mentions the word "Troika".  It says: Troika meetings ... are held on as and when required basis."

Troika is the root word for Perestroika - which was the policy of economic and governmental reform instituted by Mikhail Gorbachev in the Soviet Union during the mid-1980s. Defined, troika means: a group of three; an administrative or ruling body of three. It is also considered as an agreement.

It is interesting to note that Mikhail Gorbachev's company was one of three major sponsors of the Earth Charter, and a member of the Club of Rome. Gorbachev and Strong have worked hand-in-hand to orchestrate this scheme. In fact, Gorbachev was quoted as saying:

"The environmental crisis is the cornerstone for the New World Order."  Mikail Gorbachev

UN Millennial Goals and Environmental Sustainability
193 United Nations member states and at least 23 international organizations have agreed to achieve several key goals by the year 2015.

The goals pertaining to environmental sustainability look like this:
  • Target 7A: Integrate the principles of sustainable development into country policies and programs; reverse loss of environmental resources
  • Target 7B: Reduce biodiversity loss, achieving, by 2010, a significant reduction in the rate of loss
    • Proportion of land area covered by forest
    • CO2 emissions, total, per capita and per $1 GDP (PPP)
    • Consumption of ozone-depleting substances
    • Proportion of fish stocks within safe biological limits
    • Proportion of total water resources used
    • Proportion of terrestrial and marine areas protected
    • Proportion of species threatened with extinction
  • Target 7C: Halve, by 2015, the proportion of the population without sustainable access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation (for more information see the entry on water supply)
    • Proportion of population with sustainable access to an improved water source, urban and rural
    • Proportion of urban population with access to improved sanitation
  • Target 7D: By 2020, to have achieved a significant improvement in the lives of at least 100 million slum-dwellers
    • Proportion of urban population living in slums
When our countries are made weak, then the Elites will be strong.

Some Lesser Known Pertinent Details

Maurice Strong has made himself  indispensable, since he is at the center of the U.N.’s global strategy for sustainable development. He has served as:
Maurice Strong with Al Gore following a keynote address at an Asian conference in Manila, 2009.

As for some of his notable accomplishments, Strong was the:
  • Founder of the Earth Council
  • Founder of the Earth Charter Initiative
  • Architects of the Global Green Agenda.
  • Author of Agenda 21, the Earth Charter, the Kyoto Protocol and the UN report on Global Governance.
He is definitely a busy man! Here is Maurice - in his own words.

(YouTube link)

Maurice Strong has Theosophical leanings, and I suspect he's a Luciferian. He has received awards from the Swedish Royal Order of the Polar Star, which is on a Masonic Maltese cross, and the Order of Canada.

According to an Associated Press report, Strong said this about the U.S.:
"The United States is the greatest threat to the world's ecological health. . . . In effect, the United States is committing environmental aggression against the rest of the world." [5]
Rio Skyline

Objective of 2012 Rio+20 Conference
"The objective of the Conference is to secure renewed political commitment for sustainable development, assess the progress to date and the remaining gaps in the implementation of the outcomes of the major summits on sustainable development, and address new and emerging challenges."[6]
The values and principles of sustainability can be found in the Earth Charter and Agenda 21, which is an action plan of the UN related to sustainable development and was an outcome of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992.

The UN stated this about their program of control:
"Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced — a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level."
Conclusion
God's Word always has words of comfort in situations like this. Matthew 10:28 says,  "Fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Then in Luke 12:5, the Bible says who we should fear: "But I will forewarn you whom you shall fear: Fear him, who after he has killed has power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him." He describes Judge Jesus, but if we are sealed and have salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, we have nothing to fear of the actions of man. We ultimately know our destination after death.

Our Lord foretold troubles, and that these troubles will not be a surprise. He told His disciples what they would suffer, and from whom - and He has done this for us too. We know that He will deal with us fairly and faithfully. The message of scripture has always been to hold loosely the things of this life. If you aren't prepared, perhaps you should.

Jerusalem: Religious leaders launch interfaith environmental campaign

(AFP) Christian, Jewish and Muslim leaders in the Holy Land joined forces Monday to launch a multi-faith environmental campaign, citing religious injunctions to protect the Earth across their three faiths.

Among their plans are the convening of an international conference of religious leaders in New York ahead of the 2012 United Nations General Assembly, a North America public relations campaign and training future clerics on the importance of environmental issues, one of the organizers said.

At the Jerusalem launch of the Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development, Rabbi David Rosen noted that the obligation upon humans to care for their surroundings comes near the very beginning of the Bible.

"That is the original charge in the first chapters of Genesis, given to the first man and woman, not purely to develop, to till the land, but also to protect it ... to conserve it," he said, to nods of agreement from a Roman Catholic bishop and the Palestinian deputy minister of religious affairs.

"The main religions should really study the ecological crisis together, because our destiny is common," Bishop William Shomali said. "If Earth is polluted it is polluted for Muslims, Christians and Jews." (Read more)

Note that the Holy Land was selected for the conference.
