Pro-life Watch Dog Group Says Senomyx Uses Cells from Abortions to Test Their Product

After pouring a total of 30 million dollars into research and development, the companies that have invested into Senomyx's products have been secretive about their involvement within the company. Some, like Kraft, have declined to divulge any specifics regarding their relationship with Senomyx, but instead stated that Kraft was committed "to reducing the sugar and salt levels in many products."

A relatively young company, Senomyx, is responsible for the sodium and sugar levels falling in your favorite grocery store item. How are they doing this without affecting the taste? They may be putting this chemical into your food without telling you. [1]

Senomyx masks bitter flavors by turning off bitter flavor receptors on the tongue and enhancing salty and sweet flavors. This would allow the companies to tout claims such as "less sugar" or "lower sodium" by reducing the actual sugar and/or salt by approximately half, but the foods will retain the same level of sweetness or saltiness when they touch the tongue by fooling your brain.[2]

Since Senomyx's flavor compounds will be used in small proportions, the company is able to bypass the lengthy F.D.A. approval process required to get food additives on the market. Getting the Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association status of generally recognized as safe, it took Senomyx less than 18 months, including a 3-month safety study using rats. In contrast, the maker of the artificial sweetener Sucralose spent 11 years winning F.D.A. approval, and is required to list the ingredient on food labels.

Kraft, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Campbell Soup and Solae have contracted with the biotechnology company Senomyx, for exclusive rights to use the ingredients in certain types of food and beverages. [3

The Children of God for Life claims that Senomyx is using HEK 293 – human embryonic kidney cells taken from an electively aborted baby to assist in producing this chemical that will turn off receptors. This pro-life watch dog group that has been monitoring the use of aborted fetal material in medical products and cosmetics for years. The watch dog group is calling on the public to boycott products of major food companies that are partnering with Senomyx, unless the company stops using aborted fetal cell lines to test their products.

The spokesman for Children of God for Life stated, “They could have easily chosen COS (monkey) cells, Chinese Hamster Ovary cells, insect cells or other morally obtained human cells expressing the G protein for taste receptors,” Vinnedge added.

In writing to their collaborators, NestlĂ© finally admitted the truth about their relationship with Senomyx, noting the cell line was “well established in scientific research".[4]

Since a pro-life group announced that a biotech firm, Senomyx, is using aborted fetal cell lines to test their artificial flavor enhancers, two companies have announced they have disaffiliated with the firm. Within hours of its press statement to LifeNews.com, the pro-life group received notice from Campbell Soup has severed its ties with Senomyx. Solae, LLC, indicates it, too, has severed its ties with the controversial biotech firm. [5]

Internationalists Renew Call for a North American Union

(The New American) One of the most dangerous and pressing threats to American sovereignty is the proposed creation of the North American Union, a European Union-style amalgamation of the United States, Canada, and Mexico into a borderless, unified continental body. In the United States, one of the main proponents of the NAU has been former President George W. Bush, whose policy of open borders and a lenient approach to immigration is indicative of his desire to erase national borders, under the guise of a “Security, Peace, and Prosperity Partnership of North America.”

While many pundits on the left, such as MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, falsely claim that constitutionalists and patriotic Americans are paranoid, and that their warnings about the threats of the erosion of American sovereignty are unfounded conspiracy theories, the objective evidence clearly indicates that a European Union-style confederation is a desired policy goal in the works among globalist elites. Brannon Howse: Dominion Theology Crowd & Globalists are Working Hand-in-Hand

Brannon exposes the agenda of the Dominion Theology crowd, and how they have hooked arms with the globalist plan. This is part of the religious Trojan horse he has been warning evangelicals not to take part in. This was yesterday's broadcast.

The Sorry Rant of the Modern Media

“The Book of Revelation is a work of fiction describing how a truly vicious God would bring about the end of the world. No half-smart religious person actually believes the Book of Revelation. Are lead tablets discovered in a remote cave in Jordan the secret writings about the last years of Jesus?

The texts found in Jordan, if genuine, would be among the earliest Christian writings. The 70 codices are said to contain passages in ancient Hebrew about Jesus and the Resurrection.

(Daily Mail) Artifacts discovered in a remote cave in Jordan could hold a contemporary account of the last years of Jesus.

The find of scrolls and 70 lead codices - tiny credit-card-sized volumes containing ancient Hebrew script talking of the Messiah and the Resurrection - has excited biblical scholars.

Much of the writing is in code, but experts have deciphered images, symbols and a few words and the texts could be 2,000 years old. The texts found in Jordan, if genuine, would be among the earliest Christian writings. The 70 codices are said to contain passages in ancient Hebrew about Jesus and the Resurrection.

Some academics are skeptical about the discovery because there have been numerous hoaxes and sophisticated fakes produced over the years.

Many of the codices are sealed which suggests that they could be secret writings referred to in the apocryphal Book of Ezra - an appendage to some versions of the Bible.

Texts have been written on little sheets of lead bound together with wire.

The treasure trove was found five years ago by an Israeli Bedouin and may have been around since the 1st century, around the time of Jesus's crucifixion and Resurrection.

A number of experts have examined the writings, including Margaret Barker, a former president of the Society for Old testament Study with a renowned knowledge of early Christian studies.

She told the Sunday Times how the intrigue surrounding the artifacts was similar to the black market secrecy with the discovery of the Dead Sea scrolls. (Read more)

Pastor John Hagee to Speak at Liberty University

John Hagee, founder and senior pastor of the 19,000-member Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, will speak at Liberty University's convocation today, Wednesday, March 30. What was once an Independent Fundamentalist Baptist institution of higher learning, LU has now joined the ranks of ecumenical schools. A school ranking as the eighth-largest, four-year university in the country, its views have reached our young people far and wide.

The convocation will mark the kick-off to Liberty's first Israel Emphasis Week, sponsored by Liberty's Stand With Israel club. Israel's ambassador to the United States will also speak in convocation, via a prerecorded video message.

Hagee is widely known for his passion for the Jewish people. He serves as the national chairman of Christians United for Israel, which he founded in 2006 and is now the largest pro-Israel organization in the United States, with more than 500,000 members. Hagee is also the president of John Hagee Ministries, which has given more than $60 million in humanitarian aid to Israel causes. [1]

Hagee, a Christian Zionist, teaches that God has a separate covenant with Israel and another for the Gentile Church. This is unbiblical and is sometimes called a "Dual Covenant." Hagee stated to the Houston Chronicle that he believes Jews have a special covenant with God and do not need to come to the cross for salvation. According to Hagee, Jews don't need to be born-again. Mr. Hagee told the Texas newspaper:

"I believe that every Jewish person who lives in the light of the Torah, which is the word of God, has a relationship with God and will come to redemption" (Houston Chronicle, April 30, 1988).
The Houston Chronicle newspaper then quoted Hagee again...
"I'm not trying to convert the Jewish people to the Christian faith... In fact, trying to convert Jews is a waste of time. Jews already have a covenant with God and that has never been replaced by Christianity." (Houston Chronicle, April 30, 1988, sec, 6, pg. 1). [2]
Although Liberty University tries to bridge unity between Christian denominations, there are still Scriptural elements of ecumenism that are opposed to God's Word, since pure unity is nurtured through the pure teaching of the Word. Just as in Hagee's false message - it lies in direct and serious opposition to biblical truth (John 14:6).

David Icke on Rothschild Zionism

In this video, David Icke distinguishes the difference between the Orthodox Jews and Zionism.

(YouTube link)

Key points in the video
  • Zionism is a political philosophy, and at its core it is a secret society - placing its agents in places of power.
  • You don't have to be Jewish to be a Zionist.
  • Zionism causes global antisemitism.
  • Rothschild Zionism created the nation of Israel.
  • Icke claims that there has been a systematic extermination of an entire race of people in Palestine and Gaza, while claiming to be against terrorism.
Judaism vs Zionism
There are distinct difference between the Orthodox Jews and the political Nation of Israel (Zionism) - they are spiritual opposites. Zionism is seen in Scripture and is identified as the synagogue of Satan.
"I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan." Rev. 2:9
"Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee." Rev. 3:9
It has taken many years, a lot of clever doctrine-twisting, and a large number of Satan’s ministers in Christian pulpits to get this plan into motion. These deceitful workers have fooled serious Bible-believing Christians into being the main allies and supporters of the Kabbalah/Talmud plan for destroying Bible-based Christianity. If we support the Zionist Nation of Israel, we are furthering the world government for the Antichrist.

Which leaders and Christians have directly supported the Zionist Nation of Israel?
  • John Hagee  (Freemason)
  • Pat Robertson (Freemasons)
  • Jerry Falwell (deceased, Freemason)
  • Gary Bauer (CNP)
  • Tim LaHaye (Freemason)
  • Sarah Palin (Freemason)
  • Alan Keyes (CNP)
  • as well as the Rothschild Zionists mentioned in the video.
Our country has shared interests with Israel. As Christians, we should have more concern about anti-Semitic attacks against Orthodox Jews, rather than anti-Zionist attacks. The State of Israel is just another arm of the enemy and the Imperialist West.

Wesley Clark: America's Foreign Policy "Coup"

Retired four-star general and former Democratic Presidential candidate Wesley Clark criticizes the course of U.S. foreign policy. He discloses a plan he knew about that would destroy seven countries in five years. This is when he came to the realization that the U.S. military is about starting wars, not resolving conflict. I do not believe this is a tool of disinformation, since we are viewing the scenario right now. This video was shot in 2007. I have seen the enemy and he is us!

Ken Ham Disinvited from Two Homeschool Conferences for Being Mean-spirited

Ken Ham, founder of Answers in Genesis, was disinvited from speaking at two homeschooling conferences because organizers felt he made “unnecessary, ungodly, and mean-spirited” remarks about the conventions and other speakers. Specifically, Ham accused Peter Enns, a senior fellow of biblical studies at the BioLogos Foundation based in San Diego, of not believing in a literal Adam and Fall. He also takes issue with Enns’s belief that sin should not be discussed with young children because it would cause problems with their view of God. [1]

In the past thirty years or so, various "evangelical" scholars and institutions have been moving away from traditional Christian doctrines concerning the nature of Scripture, and adopting views which are not essentially different from those espoused by liberal churchmen of the late nineteenth century.[2] Peter Enns comes from this liberal theological viewpoint. Subsequently, BioLogos Foundation believes that evolution, when understood properly, “best describes God’s work of creation.” BioLogos does not believe in young earth creationism, which Ham’s apologetics ministry Answers in Genesis does. Young earth creationism interprets the Genesis story of creation to mean that God created the Earth in six, 24-hour days.

In Brannon Howse style, Ham had made presentations on how Peter Enns was promoting unbiblical teachings and compromising the faith. He pointed out how Enns' curriculum totally undermines the authority of the Word of God. [3]  He also pointed out that Peter Enns had connections to another speaker, Susan Wise Bauer, whose company, Peace Hill Press, publishes his Bible curriculum.

The Advisory Board of Great Homeschool Conventions believes Ken’s comments to be unnecessary, ungodly, and mean-spirited statements that are divisive at best and defamatory at worst,” the homeschooling group wrote, however, that it is “100% young earth” in its scientific stance.[4]

Although they make these claims, Ham was disinvited from the Great Homeschool Conventions in Cincinnati, Ohio, March 31-April 2, and the one near Philadelphia, Pa., June 23-25.

Ham's Facebook page reads:
"Someone needs to stand against the compromise that is pouring into the church from many directions. ...Because we publicly exposed one of their speakers and his curriculum, because his beliefs clearly undermine the authority of Scripture, we apparently come under the heading of 'anti-Christian' in our actions." [5]
"Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple."
 Romans 16:17-18

Thank you, Ken Ham, for being a defender of the faith!

Middle East: Order Out of Chaos

(YouTube link)

Vijay Prashad, the Director of International Studies at Trinity College explained Libya was an easy target in the region, a non-US ally who does not walk in-step with the West. And, the UN resolution on Libya is so vague it doesn’t differentiate well between civilians and rebels – opening the door for the coalition to support the rebels above and beyond humanitarian needs.[1]

Anti-government forces are demonstrating in the streets in Bahrain, Jordan, Yemen, and Syria. Who is inspiring the revolution? As one commenter on YouTube posted:
Order out of Chaos ...
WW1 = League of Nations ...
WW2 = United Nation
WW3 = NWO!
What are we going to do about it? That's the million dollar question!

Jesuits Pay Record $166.1 Million in Child Abuse Case

(CNN) The Society of Jesus' Pacific Northwest unit and an insurer have agreed to pay a record $166.1 million to about 470 people who were sexually and psychologically abused as children by Jesuit priests from the 1940s to the 1990s, the victims' attorneys said Friday.

Blaine Tamaki, an attorney in Yakima, Washington, described the payment as "the largest settlement between a religious order and abuse victims in the history of the United States."

The Oregon Province of the Society of Jesus is now in federal bankruptcy court in Portland, Oregon. Its insurers will pay $118 million and the Jesuits' Pacific Northwest province will pay $48.1 million, Tamaki said.

"The $166.1 million is the largest settlement by a religious order in the history of the world," Tamaki said. "Over 450 Native American children - infants, toddlers to teenagers - were sexually abused repeatedly, from rape to sodomy, for decades throughout the Northwest. Instead of teaching these children how to read and write, Jesuit priests were teaching them distrust and shame.

"Instead of teaching the Native American children the love of God,  these Jesuit pedophile priests were molesting these young children," Tamaki told reporters.

The Rev. Patrick Lee, provincial superior of the Jesuits' Oregon Province, declined to comment on the settlement, citing in a written statement the ongoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.

"The province continues to work with the creditors committee to conclude the bankruptcy process as promptly as possible," Lee said.

The settlement also asks the Jesuits to provide a written apology to the victims, and share documents of importance to them, such as their personal medical records, Tamaki said.

The abuse primarily took place in Jesuit-operated mission schools and boarding schools on Indian reservations in Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana and Oregon, and some of the children were abused by Jesuits serving in dioceses throughout the Northwest, Tamika said. (Read more)

Egyptians Approve Constitution with Establishment of Islam as State Religion

The Egyptian army just called for a referendum on changes to the constitution that would allow for a non-ruling party candidate to actually have a chance. Egypt’s liberals, by and large, called for a “no” vote, arguing that Egypt did not need amendments – it needed a new constitution altogether. Moreover, if this constitution were restored, even with changes, it would give any presidential candidate incredible powers were he/she to be elected, and any parliament in that scenario would probably be dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and the former ruling party – as these were, and remain, the most organized political forces in the country.

The liberals wanted time and the generals wanted out, which they would get if the constitution were restored. So the generals pushed for a “yes” vote, and were supported (predictably) by the Muslim Brotherhood and the former ruling party. The argument on their side was that Egypt was suffering economically, and needed to get back on its feet, which could only happen if a sense of normalcy returned – which could never happen under military rule.

The referendum passed. Overwhelmingly. And frankly, rather predictably – most of which has to do with the way that Egyptian society is split along class lines and geographical lines, and the failure of the “no” vote to engage beyond their comfort zone and build a coalition. (Read more)

Jesuit Universities to Hold Conferences on ‘Sexual Diversity’

(CatholicCulture) Two Jesuit universities and two Protestant divinity schools will hold a series of conferences this fall devoted to “sexual diversity and the Catholic Church.”

The first conference, at Fordham University,

will shed light on the diverse, dynamic, and distinct views that active and former Catholics hold on the subject of sexual diversity. The focus will be not only on the issue of belief — what one thinks about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people or their sexuality — but also on practice — how one lives out the consequences of those beliefs and the Catholic Church’s teachings in daily life. In contrast to the pronouncements of Catholic church leaders and in addition to the voices of lay and ordained pro-LGBT Catholic activists, this conference aims to lift up a range of voices of American Catholics of all races, genders, social and economic backgrounds, and sexual orientations. The second conference will be devoted to “the fostering of a pro-queer life student/educational culture”; the advertisement for the third critiques the Connecticut bishops’ opposition to same-sex marriage.
“The Catholic Church has large numbers of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender laity engaged in pastoral work in the Church and many gay clergy,” according to the advertisement for the fourth conference, which will be held at Fairfield University. “But the official standpoint of the teaching Church makes their status as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender problematic for individuals, their communities, and the Church. This creates conflicts and tensions for many, while hiding the fact that all Christians contribute to Church life because of, not despite who they are.” (Source)

The universities that will cooperate in the dialogue are: Fordham University, Fairfield University, both Jesuit; Yale Divinity School and Union Theological Seminary, both considered as Protestant. [1] They are all liberal schools, all with an agenda.

The Speakers:
Mark Jordan, Harvard Divinity School, author of The Silence of Sodom: Homosexuality in Modern Catholicism and Telling Truths in Church: Scandal, Flesh and Christian Speech, among many others.

Sr. Jeannine Gramick, co-founder of New Ways Ministries, author of Building Bridges: Gay and Lesbian Reality and the Catholic Church and Voices of Hope: A Collection of Positive Catholic Writings on Lesbian/Gay Issues.

Rev. Donald Cozzens, writer-in-residence at John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH, author of Freeing Celibacy, Faith That Dares to Speak, and Sacred Silence: Denial and the Crisis in the Church. [2]

Evangelical Delegation Extends Friendship to Mormons

(Christian Post) Traditionally, evangelicals and Mormons have regarded each other with suspicion and contact was kept at a minimum. But on Thursday, a high-profile delegation of evangelical leaders was hosted by Utah’s governor, a Mormon, at his mansion and spent time engaging with one of the top leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The event involving board members of the National Association of Evangelicals was the first time that anything close to an official evangelical council had come to Utah to listen and extend a hand of friendship to the LDS Church.

“I see the NAE coming to Utah, and not just meeting here but saying, ‘We want to meet at least one Mormon leader and extend the hand of friendship;’ I see that as a very historic and courageous act,” said Dr. Richard Mouw, president of Fuller Theological Seminary, to The Christian Post.

Mouw was among the NAE board members that participated in the organization’s semiannual meeting in Salt Lake City. He shared that he has been in dialogue with Mormon theologians for the past 11 years to help foster better understanding between the two faiths. (Read more)

Dr. Mouw doesn't stop there. In an article written originally for his weblog, Dr. Mouw sings the praises of Emergent Church leader Rob Bell, and says that there is nothing wrong with his theology. He also comments at the end of his article that Billy Graham isn't an Universalist as well.

Franklin Graham: Is Franklin like Billy?

Not too long ago, I mentioned that I found it interesting that the media has been focusing a lot on the possibility that we may living in the last days. This is especially so since the earthquake in Japan. Another one of those statements was released today by Franklin Graham, in connection with the disaster in Japan. He said:
"What are the signs of [Christ’s] second coming? War and famine and earthquakes … escalating like labor pains. ... Maybe this is it, I don’t know. We should pray and be vigilant. The Bible teaches us Jesus is going to return someday. Many of us we believe that day is sooner rather than later..."
He also said: "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains."
Then within the same article, Rev. Tom Stegman, a Jesuit priest and associate professor of New Testament at Boston College, agreed with Graham that Christians ought to remain vigilant in how they live their lives so they line up with Christ's teaching in Matthew 24. I do believe we will see the return of the Lord in our lifetime, but it is another thing when people in the media talk about it, especially by a potential 33rd degree Freemason and a Jesuit priest.

If Franklin is anything like his father, it makes me wonder if he's being totally honest about his views. I'd love to believe he's a godly man, but his father has a laundry list of questionable personal associations with communist organizations and politicians, that I have a hard time trusting him. Franklin and Billy Graham have worked closely together in ministry, that it makes one wonder if they are "Like father, like son."

The fact that a Jesuit priest agreed with Franklin, makes me even more suspicious. The Jesuits practice many of the New Age spiritual exercises that have been viewed as dark occultism. As you may recall from earlier research, the Jesuits top priority after the reformation was the destruction of Protestantism, and they were much hated around the world for being assassins.

Is Franklin setting the stage for the false Masonic christ? If 2012 is the year their plan will come together, we'll find out about it soon enough.

Peace in a Globalized Society

The full conversation between Pastor Rick Warren and Faith Foundation's Tony Blair at Saddleback Church earlier this month.

Watch Tony Blair at Saddleback
(Saddleback link)

"...Tony Blair and Rick Warren are both important participants in a type of New Age "rebirthing."  They are attempting to rebirth multitudes of Christians in beliefs that they must participate in both prophetically warned of redistribution and initiation systems.  We know, at least from media accounts, that Tony Blair underwent New Age rebirthing. I submit that the New Age process is one of termites from within, wrecking balls from without.  Looks to me as though Rick Warren and Tony Blair, wittingly or unwittingly, may be accomplices in both processes."

Farrakhan Warns Obama on Libya

(YouTube link)

Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan blasted Pres. Obama and Secy. Hillary Clinton for their arrogance in meddling in another sovereign nation's affairs and publicly recommending regime change. He then instructed Americans to look beneath the surface to see who stands to benefit from the unrest, and warned Pres. Obama to be careful of the words coming from advisers lobbying him to move in with military forces to depose Libya leader, Col. Gadhafi. His rambling makes a lot of sense!

Bible Updated for Modern Readers - New American Bible and the NIV 2011

The Emerging Deception

by Donna Martin and Kathy Niehaus

"If they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no truth in them."  Isaiah 8:20

There is danger afoot in the Evangelical church, and it is happening right under our noses. The Emergent/Emerging Church movement is heading towards a collision with the New Age movement. False doctrines, a different gospel and even doctrines of demons have been introduced into many churches through books, music, videos, teachers and movements, that all claim to be of God. Some say the "Emergent Church" is the next step beyond the "seeker movement." Leaders of the movement say they have answers for our generation, even though it focuses on experience much more than the Bible. But leaders of the movement insist that in our fast-changing culture, something is happening. What was once a Christian nation with a Judeo-Christian worldview is becoming a post-Christian, un-churched, un-reached nation.

Jan Markell of Olive Tree Ministries said in an article, “Defining the Emerging Church (EC) is a little bit like nailing Jell-O to the wall.” And she was right about that. The more websites I have looked at on the movement, the more confused I got about their beliefs. Jan says, “It relies heavily on mysticism, which is a great danger to believers of all denominations. Some leaders will tell you that you cannot know truth. An EC service will often meet in homes and will rely on extra-biblical paraphernalia, extra-sensory images, sounds, smells of candles and incense, silence, mystical meditation, making the sign of the cross, touching icons, statues of saints, rosary beads for Protestants, liturgy, yoga-like deep breathing, contemplative prayer and sacraments--all for a full sensory immersion with the divine. In other words, they are looking for an encounter with the Lord using all their senses. Worship is stressed, but some would say more than the Word.”[1]

The most visible leader is Brian McLaren. He has been recognized as one of Time magazine's "25 Most Influential Evangelicals in America." McLaren calls the movement a “post-protestant, pro-catholic, contemplative-mystical form of Christianity.” His book, "A Generous Orthodox," states, "The Christian faith should become a welcome friend to other religions of the world, and not a threat.” That sounds cozy, until he was a speaker at the Kentucky Baptist Convention when leaders learned McLaren suggested that people could be saved without being Christians.

Well, that’s not the only dirty little secret. According to Linda Harvey, a speaker and the owner of the website missionamerica.com, McLaren has a bag full of goodies he’s not telling his followers. He and his supporters also believe that heaven and hell aren't real places, sin is disharmony with others and with creation, there is no absolute truth, and they reject the wrath of God in the end time eschatology. They also believe that the Bible is not divine - rather manmade, and there is no final return of Jesus Christ.

Who are these followers of the Emerging/Emergent Church?
They can be identified as the evangelical left, who are against the evangelical right, and they endorse abortion and homosexuality.

Supporters of the Emerging/Emergent Church include Robert Schuller, Richard Foster, Brennan Manning, Dan Kimball, Dallas Willard, Bruce Wilkinson, Rob Bell, Eugene Peterson, John Ortberg, John EldredgeTony Campolo, and dozens of lesser-known people. Others such as Rick Warren and Bill Hybels give credibility to the EC movement, although their churches cannot be classified as “Emergent.”

Rick Warren and others say that we need to pay attention to the Emergent Church.  Things are changing, they say, and the Emergent Church has the answers for our generation.  But what will the Emergent Church emerge into?

It should be apparent by now that the Emergent Church is more experience-based, rather than Bible-based.  Further, the Word of God takes a secondary position to the worship of God.

While promoters of the church may be sincere in their efforts to evangelize the postmodern generation and believe they are genuinely representing the Scriptures, there are some real concerns that need to be addressed.  Deviating from the Word of God for extra-biblical experience can open the door to deception.  While worshiping God is a very important part of the Christian faith, there are problems that can occur if worship supersedes the Word.

Supporters of the Emergent Church write and speak passionately about evangelism.  They are committed to reaching the postmodern generation.  They say their goal is to communicate the truths of Christianity in a way that can be understood by this generation.  They are willing to adapt or change whatever needs to be changed in order to be relevant evangelists.

While purpose-driven evangelists removed crosses and other Christian symbols from Church services to be seeker friendly, the post modern generation is attracted to crosses, candles, stained glass, liturgy and sacraments. Does this sound familiar? Their goal is to re-introduce an "Ancient-Future" faith, based on the ideas, dogmas, traditions and views of the Roman Catholic Church fathers. Many of their ideas come from Ignatius Loyola, a founder of the Jesuit order. Tony Campolo practices many of Loyola’s mystical practices that he developed to get closer to God. The mystical New Age practices he promotes are more closely tied to Buddhism, Hinduism, and Catholicism, than to biblical Christianity.

The Bible makes it clear the only way to be born again is to repent of your sins and acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. The doctrines of demons that Paul warned Timothy would be promoted in the name of Christianity in the last days are underway.

How can you recognize if this purpose-driven emergent global utopia?
Here are some of the characteristics:

  1. Sound biblical doctrine is considered as dangerous and divisive, and the experiential (i.e., mystical) is given a greater role than doctrine.
  2. Bible prophecy is no longer taught and is considered a waste of time.
  3. Israel becomes less and less important and has no biblical significance.
  4. Eventually the promises for Israel are applied to the Church and not Israel (Replacement Theology).
  5. Bible study is replaced by studying someone’s book and his methods.
  6. Church health is evaluated on the quantity of people who attend.
  7. The truth of God’s Word becomes less and less important.
  8.  God’s Word, especially concepts like hell, sin and repentance, is eventually downplayed so the unbeliever is not offended.

The Emergent Church supporters tell us that we are out-of-touch with the times, the culture and the consciousness of change. All these sentiments are echoed by Mystic Universalist Matthew Fox who has said, "Christianity has been out-of-touch with its "core," its center, its sense of mystical practice and cosmic awareness."

Rick Warren participated in a National Pastors Conference where yoga, labyrinths, and contemplative prayer were promoted.  These are the same practices found in the Emergent Church. Their focus is marginalizing those who hold fundamental or traditional religious beliefs for the greater good of the faith community, and to break down theological boundaries to build community and harmony with all groups of people.

Conclusion

While Brian McLaren and Rick Warren may be excited about the Emergent Church and the direction it is presently headed, the goal of the movement is to unify the Christian Church - into one single church. But this is only the first step to their agenda. Their unification plans sinks its roots of involvement with the interfaith movement being headed by former Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The Church is presently going through a transition, which will eventually result in a single government-approved church. It will cut across denominational and world religion boundaries. What we are presently seeing in the Emergent Church is a precursor for the one-world religion.

You may ask, how can the Church go along with this when so many know we’re living in the last days? They are taking the interfaith movement by hook, line, and sinker! Some of the top Christian universities and Christian publications are endorsing the interfaith movement and giving credence to what McLaren and Warren say. I believe it is, because they don’t believe we’re living in the last days, and naively make no connection with the one-world religion.

Please be cautious if you are a part of a church that is teaching the Emergent Church or the Purpose Driven Church ideas. If you aren't certain, stop by your church library. If you are, then do your own study on the subject, and decide then if it’s worth the risk of staying. Maranatha

Update
One of the popular pastors of an Emergent church movement has gained much popularity over the past couple of weeks. There has been some controversy over Rob Bell's recent book, Love Wins. It hit the book store shelves and bloggers haven't been able to stop talking about him. His critics call him an Universalist, which he denies.

As you listen to these recent clips, you will find that he clearly is. You will also gain some perspective on why young people are so attracted to a church like this, even though it teaches false doctrine.

The President’s Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge

(White House blog)

The President has issued a call to college presidents, faculty, staff -- and especially students -- to lead interfaith service initiatives on their campuses. It involves committing to a year of interfaith service initiatives in a spirit of interfaith and inter-cultural cooperation.[1]

To reflect back onto President Obama's inaugural address, he said:
"For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus, and non-believers. We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace."
What is really going on here with this campus challenge? In order for President Obama to reach the UN Millennial Goals, he is using the American college campuses and students to get the job done. By using religious pluralism and promoting Interfaith dialogue, the globalists hope to reduce conflicts between the religions and achieve mutually agreed upon goals.

In order to achieve an new era of peace, exclusivity will have to be brought to an end, such as Biblical Christianity. It teaches that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and truth. The true Church argues that it is necessary to suppress the falsehoods taught by other religions. The Globalist planner believe that this will never do!

Religious pluralism believes that it can stop all competition between religions and foster religious cooperation. It is summarized as an attitude which rejects focus on irrelevant differences, and instead gives respect to those beliefs held in common. This is a suitable plan for the unbelieving globalists, but it doesn't jive with born again believer; this is because all differences are relevant.

According to Eboo Patel, "This movement [the campus challenge] has been growing in significant ways on campuses across the country, at new places like University of South Carolina, Berea College and University of Tampa.

Everyone who professes to be a Christian would consider it very seriously, for separation from the world has always been one of the evidences of God's work of grace in our heart. Those who have really been born of God's Spirit have always been separated from the world, whereas those who are Christians only in name - always refuse to "Come out and be separate." In conclusion, being part of an Interfaith program like this is compromising.

New NIV Bible to Debut - the NIV 2011

(Christian Post) Say good-bye to the NIV Bible as we know it and say hello to the updated, gender-inclusive NIV Bible which debuts in stores this month.

Mega-publisher Zondervan printed 1.9 million copies of the updated NIV Bible in this first run, up from the original 1.4 million.

"This laydown of the NIV update is bigger than we imagined," said Chip Brown, senior vice president of Bibles for Zondervan, to The Christian Post. "A couple of retailers came in a little higher after seeing the marketing and products."

This spring and summer, the company is releasing 33 titles and 177 product SKUs featuring the updated NIV text. A second batch of 188 SKUs, including the updated edition of the NIV Study Bible, will join the new line this fall.

The updated NIV Bible is being promoted as the first update to the NIV in 25 years. In reality, the 2005 TNIV was the first attempt to update the 1984 NIV, but fallout from the evangelical community over its overt "gender inclusive" language led to its demise in 2009.

With the updated NIV Bible now in print form, it is expected that more evangelical scholars and pastors will fully weigh in on the revised translation in the coming weeks. (Read more)

With 2011 being the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible, another new age Bible version officially comes on the scene - the NIV 2011. The gender-inclusive, or gender neutral, version of the Bible aims to cater to the feminists. It will eliminate (or neutralize) reference to gender in terms that describe people. For example, the words chairman, fireman and stewardess are gender-specific. The corresponding gender-neutral terms are chairperson (or chair), firefighter and flight attendant.  Feminists argue that previously the practice of assigning masculine gender stemmed from language reflecting a male-centered, patriarchal society. [1]

The Today's NIV (TNIV) already has gender inclusive text, but it has some alterations to it to make it more palatable to evangelicals. The publisher says the NIV 2011 will replace both the 1984 and 2005 versions. So basically, the old one will no longer be in print. Since the TNIV has gender inclusive language in it, what does John MacArthur have to say about the TNIV?

This version has already been in the making for years. The NIV is primarily a translation used by Evangelicals, so it was one of the last to be changed. All the following versions are "gender-inclusive" versions:
  • 1983 An Inclusive Language Lectionary [ILL]
  • 1985 New Jerusalem Bible [NJB]
  • 1987 New Century Version [NCV]
  • 1986 International Children’s Bible [ICB] (aka The Odyssey Bible)
  • 1986 New American Bible, [NAB]
  • 1989 Revised English Bible [REB]
  • 1990 New Revised Standard Version [NRSV]
  • 1992 Good News Bible [1992 Revision] [GNB]
  • 1992 Today’s English Version [TEV]
  • 1993 The Message
  • 1994 The Inclusive New Testament [INT]
  • 1995 Contemporary English Version [CEV]
  • 1995 New American Standard Bible Update [NASBU]
  • 1995 God's Word [GW]
  • 1996 New International Reader's Version [Nirv] (Note. After negative reaction to the "gender-inclusive" 1995 version of the NirV, in 1998 the NIV crew updated the NirV removing much of the "gender-inclusive" readings.)
  • 1996 New International Version, Inclusive Language Edition [NIVI] published ONLY in Great Britain by Hodder & Stoughton, London
  • 1995 New Testament and Psalms, An Inclusive Version [NTPI]
  • 1996 New Living Translation [NLT]
  • 2002 Today's New International Version [TNIV] [2]
It is interesting to note that the King James Bible is the only version that is not copywritten. All other translations in print are owned by individuals.

"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD,
that I will send a famine in the land,
not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water,
but of hearing the words of the LORD:
" Amos 8:11

Charlotte Iserbyt breaks down how Communist conditioning has replaced traditional education, leading to a deliberate dumbing down of Americans.

Charlotte Iserbyt served as Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), U.S. Department of Education, during the first Reagan Administration, where she first blew the whistle on a major technology initiative which would control curriculum in America's classrooms.

Earthquake Activity for the last 7 Days

Scientists Project Path of Radiation Plume

(New York Times) A United Nations forecast of the possible movement of the radioactive plume coming from crippled Japanese reactors shows it churning across the Pacific, and touching the Aleutian Islands on Thursday before hitting Southern California late Friday.
Health and nuclear experts emphasize that radiation in the plume will be diluted as it travels and, at worst, would have extremely minor health consequences in the United States, even if hints of it are ultimately detectable. In a similar way, radiation from the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 spread around the globe and reached the West Coast of the United States in 10 days, its levels measurable but minuscule.  (Read more)

Rick Joyner: The Spiritual Significance of the Japanese Earthquake

(YouTube link)

Rick Joyner spoke at a recent Sunday morning service about the earthquake in Japan, which Bob Jones prophesied over twenty years ago. Joyner shares about the demonic principalities that ruled Nazi Germany and how they will attempt to enter the United States. He said:

"He [Lt.Col. Eugene Byrd] believed that the same demonic evil principalities that had taken over Germany, are going to attempt to take over the United States. He wanted to understand what opened this gate of hell - into Germany so it wouldn't have to happen here. Now, myself and Bob Jones, Paul Cain, and a number of other people, have all gotten this same thing from the Lord. We really need to understand what happened in Nazi Germany, because the very same demonic principalities are going to seek inroads into America. Their purpose is to do something as bad or worse here, that was done there, but on a much larger scale... I feel that we're going to face the same strongholds here. It's all unfolding now... The real beginning would start with an earthquake in Japan. Part of that revelation, too, was an atomic mushroom cloud. I don't know what's going on with those reactors over there. Things are unfolding right now."

Joyner goes onto to say that according to the prophetic voices, given the devastation caused by this earthquake, Japan will need to call in the American debt to rebuild their nation, unleashing an economic catastrophe in the US. This will weaken the US to the point where this demonic hold can occur.

This catastrophe will only be a beginning. Apparently Bob Jones and others have prophetically seen an earthquake in California, stronger than that of Japan, but it would not occur until the quake in Japan had occurred. Full service

Rick Joyner and Bob Jones

These prophetic voices are all old news for those who routinely gaze into the future, such as occultists who have been predicting it for years. These false prophets can never get the date down, but geologists know it will  happen.

Joyner's conclusions that the demonic principalities that drove the Nazi movement will make inroads into our country, is also something that has been occurring for years. The Nazi Germany War Machine was stopped, but not Nazism. He's part of the Knights of Malta, so he is privy to this information. They are only waiting for the right opportunity and sequence of events, to bring their plan together. When this becomes more apparent, they will hail Joyner and his prophets as genuine.

Religious Trojan Horse: Fabian Socialism, Tony Blair, and Rick Warren

(WorldviewWeekend link) (Sorry about the auto-start)

This is the stained-glass window from the Beatrice Webb House in Surrey, England, former headquarters of the Fabian Society. It was designed by George Bernard Shaw and depicts Sidney Webb and Shaw striking the Earth with hammers to "REMOULD IT NEARER TO THE HEART'S DESIRE," a line from Omar Khayyam. Note the wolf in sheep's clothing in the Fabian crest above the globe. The window is now on display at the London School of Economics (LSE), which was founded by Sydney and Beatrice Webb.

The window was officially unveiled by a ceremony attended by British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who is a member of the Fabian Society. [1]

Rick Warren sits on the International Religious Advisory Council, made up of members of the major religions. Its role is to advise Tony Blair on the work of the Faith Foundation. [2] This would explain why Blair decided to speak at the special forum at Saddleback.

The above video is an excerpt from a 4 1/2 hour series, which can be found here.

2011 SBC Pastors’ Conference Features Rick Warren

The June 12-13 conference in Phoenix, Ariz., will be held under the theme, "Aspire: Yearning to join God's Kingdom Activity," taken from Romans 15:20. The 2011 SBC Pastors' Conference is held prior to the Southern Baptist Convention’s annual meeting, and features renowned speakers including John Piper, senior pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, and Rick Warren of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif.

Those who are less known, but many have problems with are Darrin Patrick. He is Vice President for Acts 29 Church Planting Network, and he is scheduled to speak.  Acts 29 is the network run by Mark Driscoll, the controversial pastor in Seattle, WA, who is associated with the Emerging Church movement. He is no longer associated with the liberal branch of the Emerging Church, which is the branch of the movement that Brian McLaren is involved with, but Driscoll still believes the gifts are for today.

Second, is Jamar Jones, who serves as the Executive Director of Music and Fine Arts at the Potter’s House Church, Dallas Texas. Those familiar with T.D. Jakes and his non-trinitarian understanding of Holy Deity should immediately understand the problem.  Theological modalism is hardly a belief which may be called orthodox, much less within the sphere of Southern Baptists' confession of faith. [1]

I know that many of you have been holding on by your fingernails and continuing to attend the Southern Baptist Churches. I believe there will come a day that you will no longer put up with the compromise of the SBC.

Radiation From Fukushima Would Take 7 Days To Reach U.S.

(YouTube link)

"The worst case scenario is that the fuel rods fuse together, the temperatures get so hot that they melt together in a radioactive molten mass that bursts through the containment mechanisms and is exposed to the outside. So they spew radioactivity in the ground, into the air, into the water. Some of the radioactivity could carry in the atmosphere to the West Coast of the United States." ~ Joe Cirincione, Ploughshares Fund

According to a report posted on PrisonPlanet.com, the radiation could take 7 days to reach the US from Fukushima. The following is the typical wind trajectory. The whole story is not being disclosed in the media, because the information is changing, and they don't want to cause unnecessary panic.

Monitoring stations in Alaska will not know if there is a threat from such radiation until Saturday at the earliest. It would take roughly eight days until it reached Honolulu, ten days for Seattle and eleven days before it hit Los Angeles, according to figures calculated by Expert Senior Global Meteorologist Jim Andrews.

Who would have known that this country would suffer two major disasters in less than 70 years.
